The Academic Staff Union of Universities has officially suspended its one month six days strike after meeting with the Federal Government delegates head by Chris Ngige.
The ASUU chairman Prof. Abiodun Ogunyemi announced in Abuja after the meeting that the strike may continue in October if the FG failed to meet up with the agreement as contained in the Memorandum of Understanding.
However, lecturers have been ordered to resume their full duties on Tuesday 19th of September, 2017.
