Meet Elkar Don Julius

Meet my Surprise Package of the Week of the week. He is extremely creative and you wouldn't mind being his friend. He is a comic artist and I marvelled at the sight of his work. In his words, meet Elkar Don.

"My name is Julius Omoyoma Imasuen (Dioru) aka Julius Elkardon (Artist Alliase). I've been drawing comics since as long as I can remember, got to a point where my parents didn't like the art and burnt a few comics. But that didn't stop me, because I loved what I was doing and in time they accepted my art and wanted me to never leave it, to add it as my handiwork along side the course I studied in the university, Accounting."

"As the years passed I've been working on two comics. One a Reboot from my childhood and secondary school life Japanese comic Namkuru, which I changed to Purple Light. The other was inspired by my favorite Superhero Superman and I intended to make him Nigerian but still distinctive from my Superhero idol."

 

The name Modmight, I plan to go a long way with Modmight hopefully with the aid of funds from my earnings as a Chattered Accountant in the future. I plan to make Modmight an iconic Superhero that will show the world the true nature of Africa, the ideal of a Nigerian and how Nigeria actually is. 

"Alongside the comics, I do some commissions for client's by drawing them or making illustrations for them. I don't focus on the money for my art but I hope to make profit from it, man can not live by bread alone they say."
